What you’ll do:

DUTIES: Work with technical partners to ensure the smooth implementation of all Pega releases across production and non-production environments. Implement continuous integration techniques to automate the build process over time. Institute Pega feature that automates approval of changes; apply feature to legacy rules. Work closely with product teams, stakeholders, and the release manager to ensure smooth and timely code releases. Assign RuleSet names and versions by feature or User story. Perform deployment reviews. Keep legacy RuleSets locked; work with developers when need arises to make a change. Review “Rule Overrides” and “Preflight” reports before each release. Participate in code reviews. Ensure RuleSets are locked before promotion to non-development environments. Apply structure to control rule placement using Pega facilities to associate classes and RuleSets. WebSphere administration in support of releases and buildout of new infrastructure.

What you have:

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field followed by 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

  1. Pega administration and development;

  2. Pega Center of Excellence with strong knowledge of Pega upgrade efforts;

  3. Pega offline utilities;

  4. WebSphere 7.x administration;

  5. Agile Methodologies; and

  6. Basic shell scripting and Linux command line.
