The Stock Plan Services (SPS) Proactive Outreach Team actively works with new and existing Stock Plan participants to provide a personalized and expanded service experience. Proactive Outreach Consultants engage participants through a needs-based dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of their needs in order to position appropriate services, solutions and relationships. Through outbound calls and email correspondence, Proactive Outreach Consultants are focused on increasing participant engagement, deepening relationships and encouraging the retention and/or consolidation of assets. A successful consultant will create strong partnerships with the Equity Award Consultation Team, Branch FCs, Schwab Intelligent Services, Trading Solutions, Acquisition Delivery and other client-facing teams at Schwab. Engaging Participants in high quality needs-based conversations that add value to their relationship with Schwab, is a key component of SPS business strategy.
What you’ll do:
In order to pursue this mission, the SPS Proactive Outreach Consultants will:
Conduct pre-call planning to effectively assess participant needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and where applicable, position the appropriate partner for more complex or comprehensive solutions
Build participant loyalty while applying a broad range of knowledge, skills and experiences to all participant interactions
Demonstrate a high level of productivity, quality of conversation and professional behaviors aligned with Schwab’s core values
Activate calling strategies (in addition to campaigns) handling approximately 40 to 60 outbound calls per day
Maintain the highest ethical standards in the conduct of their business activities and professional dealings and to avoid even the appearance of impropriety
Demonstrate a deep understanding and compliance with applicable policies/procedures and application of ethical standards to every business activity in which they engage
Utilization of Salesforce, MARS/NBC to work campaigns, enter leads and note participant interactions
What you have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Active & valid FINRA Series 7 is required
Active & valid FINRA Series 66 (63/65) or must be obtained within 120 days of employment.
Minimum of one year experience in the financial services industry required.
Strong knowledge of equity compensation is preferred
Excellent consultative, interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus with clients, team members, and leadership
Results driven, highly motivated self-starter who possesses integrity, a strong work ethic and the desire to help participants plan for their financial goals & objectives
Must be detail oriented with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities daily
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity
