Our Opportunity:

The Move Money Solutions, Charitable Operations Team provides trading and operational support for Schwab Charitable Fund. Our goal is to provide world class service experience to a customer base that is increasingly affluent and sophisticated.

What you’ll do:

The Move Money Solutions Specialist in Charitable Operations will assist the team in opening and funding charitable gift accounts, equities trading, cashiering, grant check disbursement, statistical processing, database support and general operations. The Specialist must be customer focused and comfortable working with a diverse group of employees of the Donor Relations and Grant Teams of the Fund, including Management and Officers. This position may be called upon to work on special projects and supervise the work of contractors during high volume periods.

What you have:

  • 3-5 years experience in Brokerage Operations highly preferred

  • Experience processing

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure and within deadlines

  • Strong computer aptitude is required particularly MS Excel, as well as knowledge of Schwab propriety systems and trading platforms

  • Flexible with regard to both schedule and role as both may change with little notice in response to market activity and business demand

  • Strong desire and commitment to quality control and maintaining service standards

  • Ability to quickly make decisions that appropriately balance risk and service

  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate financial and technical information to customers and colleagues with varying levels of subject matter expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Ability to work additional hours during high volume business periods (December) and possibly weekends
