We believe that , when done right, investing liberates people to create their own destiny. We are driven by our purpose to champion every client’s goals with passion and integrity. We respect and appreciate the diversity of our employees, our clients, and the communities we serve. We challenge conventions strategically to create value for our clients, our firm and the world. We live and bring to life the concept of ‘own your tomorrow’ every day. We champion our employee strengths, guide their development, and invest in their long-term success. We hire optimistic, results-oriented, curious, innovative, and adaptable people with the desire to help our clients and one another succeed.

As a company, we were established by Chuck at http://www.aboutschwab.com/about/leadership/charles_schwab over 40 years ago to champion Main Street over Wall Street, and to help Americans transform themselves from earners to owners. Through advocacy and innovation, we work to make investing more affordable, accessible and understandable for all. As we enter our fifth decade, we are looking for talented, innovative and driven people who believe they can help themselves, and our clients, create a better future.

Our Opportunity:

Schwab has embarked on a major effort to transform our operating model – with an initial focus on significant improvements in efficiency and the client/employee experience in our mission-critical processes. The BPT (Business Process Transformation) group is at the core of Schwab’s value proposition: We drive scale, client value, and an end-to-end client experience that delivers a sustainable competitive advantage for Schwab. Our strategy is as much about the “how” as the “what” of this effort. Our transformation requires significant change and skill development across our teams, and demands a new way of thinking, working, collaborating, planning, and delivering.

What you’ll do:

Within our team, the role of the Product Owner is a pivotal one. Product Owners are expected to be aware of industry trends, their client’s needs and the fundamentals of software solutions. Product Owners convert their understanding of the marketplace and client needs into a backlog of new products and features. Product owners are accountable for execution of priorities and delivery of business outcomes, identifying and driving toward achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs). Product owners own the development of requirements (user stories) for their Scrum team(s) in support of meeting their business objectives. They champion their products and lead cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization.
