Our Opportunity:

The primary objective of Trading Solutions is to create a mutually beneficial partnership with our enterprise partners. Trading Solutions assists in qualifying and closing Schwab Trading Services client and prospect business development opportunities. Also, the team will act as a resource for specific trading products and services such as StreetSmart Edge, Edge in the Cloud, Mobile, and Furthermore, Trading Solutions engages in advertising and marketing campaigns focused on Trading Services clients and prospects. Trading Solutions is responsible for growing and retaining Active Trader market share at Schwab by providing client-focused solutions and education that deepens client relationships. Trading Solutions has Regional Managers in 12 major trading markets who work closely with their local branches, clients, and prospects.

What you’ll do:

The Regional Manager of Trading Solutions will work as a relationship manager, educator and sales leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive regional business plan that creates new opportunities to grow the business by focusing on positive client experience. The Regional Manager will educate clients through seminars, local branch events, and individual meetings. This person will meet sales and other business objectives and act as an adviser to branch financial consultants and management. The Regional Manager will be responsible for contributing to the strategic development and tactical implementation of group relationship and sales initiatives. This position requires significant travel within the assigned regional market (80 % +), which includes, the states of Texas and Louisiana.

This person should have experience working with cross-functional teams. This person will frequently present to groups of clients, Financial Consultants, and Branch Managers to demonstrate market and product knowledge. The Regional Manager must possess excellent communication, time, and project management skills. They must have the passion and drive necessary to deliver exceptional client satisfaction and robust business development results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform 1 on 1 onboarding consultations with new-to-firm and new-to-offer Trader Services clients

  • Act as the primary company resource to help acquire and consolidate Trader Services business development opportunities

  • Provide sales support for trading products and services such as StreetSmart Edge, Edge in the Cloud, Mobile, and

  • Work directly with Trading Services Marketing and handle current marketing promotions and campaigns

  • Partner with other Trading Solutions Regional Managers in 12 major trading markets who work closely with their local branches, clients and prospects.

What you have:

  • 5+ year’s sales experience in the Active Trader, Securities and Financial Services industry

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • An active and valid Series 7 required

  • An active and valid Series 63 required

  • A valid Series 3 is a plus bus is not required

  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, communication, organizational, decision-making and leadership skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must possess a demonstrated background in education and or public speaking

  • Extensive knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis, advanced trading strategies, risk management, active trader products, services, software, and the brokerage industry
